we need test and trials

As a mother, I love my children so much. I would do anything to stop them experiencing any pain, trial, or failure. Yet, I recognize that they can sometimes learn more profoundly from the difficulties they face, than simply a life of ease. Then I think of the Creator. He loves us so much. Deep in my heart I never have any doubt and I am sure that He does not want us to suffer. Yet I am also sure that we need tests and trials to learn and to grow as human beings.
